Dont take her away

She looked at me, helpless, tears welling up in her eyes. "They are going to take me away from you. I dont want to go. Please. Don't let them take me.. Please.. I cant exist without you.". "I wont let them.. I promise.." I replied.. I heard them talking outside. Meaningless.. Everything is fine as long as she is with me..

"You know I exist just for you, right? Your my sole reason for being" I heard her whisper in the dark. They wont let us keep the lights on.. "Yes, And me for you.. Promise me youll stay with me for ever!" I said as she snuggled her head closer into the nice between my chin and shoulder.. "I promise."

The guy was back. Smug, dressed always in white. I hated him. He wanted to take everything away from me. "Dont you want to leave? Why are you being stubborn? We dont want to hurt anyone! Trust us.. Why dont you just do as we tell you? Everything will be fine." I didnt bother replying and just turned away. "Cummon, Talk to me.. You know Im your friend." He said moving closer. Boiling inside i shouted "NO YOUR NOT! ALL OF YOU ARE THE SAME! YOU JUST WANT TO TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME!". "Dont you think it would be better for you without her?" He asked.. I just stared at him. He looked away. "If you dont listen to us im afraid we might have to use force." Clearing my throat i spat at him. It missed him and hit the table. He called the guy waiting outside "Take him back to his cell."

She was waiting for me tear eyed. "You know eventually they will take me away to break you. Forget the promise. Just do what they tell you. I cant stand to see you suffer like this"."NEVER!" I shouted and hugged her. Crying she looked at me, "Its useless. They never give up.". "I'd rather die" I replied.I would not let them win although i had already lost. She hugged me. I wished it could go on like that for ever.

I heard them outside the door. They had come for her. "Hide!" I shouted at her. I was ready to fight. The door burst open. Three of them. I launched myself at them and knocked one down. The second guy got me in a head lock and soon I was overpowered by all three of them. "I WONT LET YOU TAKE HER" I shouted. Wordlessly they tied me to the bed. "NO! DONT TAKE HER!" They pretended not to hear. One of them hooked the syringe up to my arm. I continued shouting in vain. I felt drowsy. They were taking her away and there was nothing i could do. I started crying and pleading but they didnt pay any attention to me. i would never see her again. This couldnt be happening.. She never hurt anyone. She was full of love for all things alive. I looked into her eyes as she soundlessly mouthed "I love you." I couldnt stay awake any longer...

As i fell asleep i heard one of them mutter "Darn Schizophernia patients. Its hell just getting them to take their medicine.I swear Im gonna go crazy and get admitted her myself." The other two laughed. They were taking her..

And there was nothing I could do about it..
